NACHO MANZANO
3 Michelin Stars, 1 Michelin Green Star and 3 Repsol Suns
Nacho Manzano, an Asturian chef with over 30 years of experience and winner of the 2021 National Gastronomy Award, is a leading figure in Spanish haute cuisine. Since 1993, he has led Casa Marcial in the small village of La Salgar with his sisters Esther and Sandra, transforming the family home into an internationally renowned restaurant with three Michelin stars, three Repsol Suns, and a green star for sustainability, in addition to other national and international awards. His cuisine combines tradition and modernity, emphasizing respect for the environment, local produce, and Asturian roots.
With the addition of the new generation—Chus Manzano in the kitchen and Miguel Sánchez Manzano in management—the Manzano Brothers continue to shape their culinary universe with projects such as NM in Oviedo (one Michelin star), Gloria in Oviedo and Gijón, Nastura, Narbasu Restaurant and Hotel (one green star), Manzano Catering, and their off-the-grid restaurant, Hermanosmanzano.com. Nacho Manzano is also the culinary advisor for the five-star TivoliKopke hotel in Porto, Portugal. His work has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest exponents of Spanish gastronomy.
