Director of the Repsol Guide
María Ritter, born in Bogotá (1974), has led the digital, inclusive, and sustainable transformation of the Repsol Guide since 2015. Believing that gastronomy unites and brings joy, she has modernized its approach, launched new categories, promoted sustainability, and expanded its geographic reach. Her work has received recognition for revitalizing the guide, consolidating it as a key reference in gastronomy and cultural identity in Spain.
María Ritter believes that gastronomy is a source of happiness and directs the Guide with the mission of helping people find memorable moments through food. She also has a clear commitment to sustainability: she promoted certifications such as "Efficient and Sustainable Cuisine" and promoted the creation of the "Sustainable Sun" award to recognize establishments with responsible practices.
In 2025, María was awarded the Diario de Avisos Award for the best work in promoting gastronomy, in recognition of the revolution she has led in the publication over the last decade.
